Pekit Pua Kumbu Sarawak 2013


Diatur atur-atur pekit pua kumbu ke dipelajai ke taun tu.  Ngansak semua bala ke bisi pengelandik betenun enggau nganjung pua kumbu kita.  Pom masuk ulih dicelak kita baka ke dibaroh dia.  Terima kasih.

GENERAL RULES AND CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION
ATUR PEKIT

1.   The competition is open to all weavers in Sarawak, regardless of age.
Pekit pua kumbu dibuka ngagai semua bansa Dayak di Sarawak, enda ngira umur.

2.  Each weaver may submit only one piece and weaving must be made within 6 months prior to the closing date of the competition, 10 May 2013.
Semua pemekit dipinta nganjung kain tenun ke udah tembu siti aja.  Kain tenun tu deka ditenun dalam pengelama 6 bulan belabuh ari pemekit nganjung pom enggau bepekit.  Semua kain tenun mesti datai ba komiti pua kumbu kena tauka sebedau 10 Mei 2013. 

3.   All entries must be executed in NATURAL DYES only.
Semua kain tenun mesti di tenun ngena ‘dye’ asal.

4.  The competition falls under 1 category, that is, Category 1 (Cotton – Pua Kumbu).
Pekit pua kumbu tu di buka ngagai 1 kategori aja, ianya,   Kategori 1 (Cotton – pua kumbu).

5.  Prize is categorized under the followings:
Kategori prais deka diatur baka ke dibaruh tu:-

a.        CATEGORY ONE:  COTTON  (PUA KUMBU)
                       
1.         Size (Saiz):      4’ X 8’
2.         Colour:          Natural dyes
Kala : Engkudu, engkerebai, sebangki, dll
3.                  Design: Traditional geometric patterns
Ukir:  Ukir corak bungai aja

PRIZES:           
1st     :                       CashRM3000.00 + Certificate +Trophy
2nd  :                       Cash RM2000.00 + Certificate + Trophy
3rd  :                         Cash RM1000.00 + Certificate + Trophy
4th - 6th           :          Cash RM500.00 + Certificate
7th – 10th        :        Cash RM200.00 + Certificate
11th – 20th      :        Cash RM100.00 + Certificate

6.  All entries are to be delivered together with the entry forms on or before 10th May 2013, and to the following secretariat: 
Semua kain tenun ke udah tembu deka mesti datai ba komiti pekit pua kumbu sebedau 10 Mei 2013 ngagai penama ke dibaruh:-

7.  The competition will be judged on 17-18 May 2013.  The location and time will be known at a later date.  The top 20 will be short-listed and be taken as materials for the exhibition.
Ari ngakim deka diatur kena 17-18 Mei 2013.  Endor enggau jam deka dipadah dudi.  20 iti kain tenun ke dipilih deka dibantai maia ari exhibition.

8.  Upon completion of the competition, all non-winning entries shall be collected at the above, as per para 6, from 10th June – 14th June, 2013.  All unclaimed entries will automatically become the property of SIDS Sibu.
Pengudah pemutus pekit pua kumbu, semua pemekit dipinta ngambi pulai  pua kumbu sida iya dalam tempoh seminggu, belabuh ari 10 –  14 Jun 2013 aba alamat baka di para 6.  Enti enda diambi dalam tempoh ke udah dipadah, pua kumbu sida deka nyadi reta SIDS Sibu.

9.  The organizers will not be liable to any damage or lost of properties before, during and after the competition.
Komiti pekit pua kumbu nadai tanggung jawap ke semua perengka tauka reta ke bisi besangkut paut enggau kain tenun tu enti rosak tauka lenyau.

10.  Each piece should be weaved and labeled at the side with ‘SIDS SIBU 2013’.
Kain tenun deka ditenun enggau tulis penama “SIDS SIBU 2013” ba tisi kain tenun.

11.  Results of the competition will be announced during the Gawai Dayak Dinner Celebration, Sibu or a date to be fixed later.
Pemutus pekit kain tenun tu deka di padah maia malam pengerami Gawai Dayak  Bahagian Sibu tauka maya ke ditetapka. 

12.  The top ten winners will be notified and be required to attend the dinner function or the specified prize giving function.  Attendance to the function will be arranged, however, accommodation and transportation of weavers to the event will be borne by themselves.
Pemutus pekit kain tenun ari lumor 1 ngagai 10 di pinta datai ngulu pengerami makai malam Gawai Dayak Bahagian Sibu tauka pengerami nyua ke prais.  Endor enggau jam deka dipadah.  Endor pemekit alam pengerami deka disediaka, tang endor diau enggau transport di tanggung diri empu.

13.  The Entry forms are obtainable from SIDS website http:/www.sids-sibu.blogspot.com or obtainable from the secretariats.

14.  The judging criterias are in the following manners:-
Cara ngakim Pekit kain tenun tu baka ke di baruh:-
      Design / Ukir                                                         40%
      Colour (must be in natural dyes only)  / 'Color'       30%
      Composition / Originality            / Asal                   15%
     Workmanship / Pengalus Tenun                           15%

15.  Decisions made by the Organizers and Judges shall be final.
 Pemutus ari komiti enggau hakim pekit kain tenun enda ulih dibantah.

16.  An exhibition of ‘Pua Kumbu’ will be organized and the date and time will be informed at a later date.
 Pameran kain tenun deka dipandang lalu maya deka ditetapka dudi ila.  

17.  All the ‘Pua Kumbu’ that won prizes no. 1 – 3 shall become the property of SIDS Sibu.
Pua kumbu ke bulih no. 1 – 3 deka diambi nyadi ke reta SIDS Sibu.
